Earning Guide status unlocks your employee purchase discount. There are a few simple ways to check your Guide status in Trek University.
Method 1: Check Your Transcript
- Open your Transcript.
- Look in the Badges section for either:
- Sales Guide, or
- Service Guide
Make sure the badge shows the current season year in red on the badge icon.
Method 2: Check the Guide tile
- From the Trek U homepage, select the Guide tile.
- If you are a Guide, the curriculum will show a checkmark and display Completed in green.
Method 3: Open the Guide Curriculum
- Click into the Guide Curriculum.
- Review the progress bar at the top of the page.
The progress bar shows how much training you have completed and how much remains.
Important
At regular intervals, we update the list of courses required to earn Explorer or Guide employee purchase discounts.
- When requirements change, you may need to complete additional Guide courses to re-earn your Guide status.
- A quick way to confirm your status is to check your transcript for a Guide badge with the current year shown in red.
