One of the most frequent questions asked about Trek U is, “where should I start?”, which is then followed by, “…and what should I take next?”. The JOB ROLES section of Trek U Pro lays everything out to help each person follow a learning path that’s right for their role.

In this section, you’ll see several CURRICULUMS. These are collections of coursework, curated into the best order to learn job skills efficiently.
Our recommendation is for all NEW EMPLOYEES to begin using Trek U Pro by completing the NEW HIRE FIRST STEPS curriculum. It includes a workbook to guide the employee through completing a few online courses, then discussing and practicing what they’ve learned with their manager. The workbook is downloadable from the “Resources” header on the right side of the curriculum navigation window.

When completing a curriculum, start by downloading the workbook and use it to guide you through learning & practicing the material.
After NEW HIRE FIRST STEPS, we recommend that salespeople complete the SALES FUNDAMENTALS curriculum and service employees complete the ASSEMBLY curriculum – these build the foundational skills for each path. Once complete, move into more advanced topics, or cross-train by completing fundamental curriculum in other areas.
Be sure to click ENROLL in any curriculum you’re working on. Doing this will put the curriculum into the MY COURSES carousel on your homepage, so you can easily find it again with fewer clicks. This is especially useful for large curriculum that you won’t finish in one sitting. It also ensures you get credit for completing the curriculum and earn your completion badge.
