Leaderboards foster an environment of healthy competition among Trek U students. All learners can work their way up in the ranks by completing courses to earn leaderboard points.

You’ll find a leaderboard tile on your Trek U homepage. Clicking on it will show you your current position in two categories: CURRENT SEASON and ALL TIME.

Current Season

Your rank is based on points earned within a predetermined span of time.

All Time:

Your rank is based on points possible in the system and includes points for courses you passed in our old system.

The more courses you complete, the more leaderboard points you’ll earn. You earn 20 leaderboard points every time you complete a lesson within a course – up to 100 points maximum in courses that have multiple lessons. Completing a course for the first time will earn you leaderboard points. Retaking a course will not add to your point totals.

You’ll notice that not all courses have the same leaderboard point totals. That is due to some courses having multiple lessons included. Even though you get 20 points per lesson, you do not officially earn those points until you complete the entire course.
