As of today, Monday, June 2nd, Trek Central App version 2.8.1 is now available globally on both iOS and Android app stores. This release is a hotfix to v2.8 and is comprised of multiple small bug fixes. 

There are two main fixes in place with v2.8.1:

Hyena Connection Stability - This update further increases the connection stability of Hyena eBikes and the Trek Central app. 

Hyena Throttle eBike HMI Clock - The clock on the HMI of the new Trek/Electra eBikes (FX+ 1 and Townie Go!) is designed to update to the rider's correct time zone after connection with the Trek Central mobile app but this was not happening reliably at launch. This issue has been resolved. Connecting one of these bikes with the Trek Central app will automatically update the HMIs clock. 

To get the new app version, visit the Trek Central app page in either the iOS or Android app store and select 'Update.' You can also set up your device to automatically download app updates when they become available.
