Trek Central - App Release v2.9.2
As of February 9th, 2026, Trek Central App version 2.9.2 is available globally on both iOS and Android app stores. This update consists of Hyena Firmware-Over-The-Air (FOTA), Checkpoint+ Support, and misc. bug fixes.
App version 2.9.2 delivers key enhancements to Trek Central users:
Hyena FOTA Update
This release adds the ability to do firmware updates to your Hyena e-bike system if you have a stable cellular or wireless internet connection. This feature displays in the app on the Ready to Ride and My Bikes screens for the following bikes:
- Domane+ AL
- FX+ 2
- FX+ 1 Throttle
- Verve+1 Lowstep LT
- Dual Sport+
- Townie Go! 7D
- Cruiser Go! 7D
- Loft Go! 7D
- Townie Go! Throttle


Improved Checkpoint+ Support
- Automatically defaulting to the correct larger gravel tire sizes for pressure recommendations
- Accommodating the front suspension fork (SL7 only) for pressure recommendations
- Offering a new “Gravel” mixed surface navigation profile

Generic Bike Selector Changes
- Added Domane+ ALR to the list of bikes models available
- Removed the 'Bike Model Year' drop-down from Generic Bike Selector setup flow
Misc. bugs & small enhancements
This release resolves a number of misc. bugs and adds other minor app enhancements to improve the experience overall.

To get the new app version, visit the Trek Central app page in either the iOS or Android app store and select 'Update.' You can also set up your device to automatically download app updates when they become available.
