The following table represents 5-digit error codes in DST:

  • Error Code: A unique identifier for the specific issue.
  • Component: The system or module where the error originates (e.g., Connect Bike, Firmware Update).
  • Cause: A brief explanation of what triggered the error.
  • Corrective Measures: Recommended steps to resolve the issue, which may include checking hardware connections, restarting software tools (DST), verifying network access, or contacting Customer Care for further assistance.

10000 Generic Error General-purpose error for unspecified issues.

10101 Connect Bike Unable to start the driver service.
  1. Check if the driver service is already running (confirm with Ian what the service is)
  2. Restart DST

10102 Connect Bike Unable to check firmware on the dongle.
  1. Ensure the dongle is fully plugged into a working USB port
  2. Contact Customer Care
10103 Connect Bike Unable to update the firmware on the dongle.

10104 Connect Bike Unable to connect to the bike.
  1. If using a USB cable: Ensure the cable is fully connected to both the bike and the PC
  2. If using a Bluetooth dongle: Ensure the dongle is plugged into the computer, the bike’s HMI is turned on, and follow the connection steps

10105 Connect Bike Connection to the bike was cancelled by the user.
  1. Retry the normal bike connection process.

10201 Check Battery Unable to fetch the battery status. The battery is not responding to any software commands. 
  1. Confirm cable connections between battery and motor/HMI
  2. Replace the battery

10202 Check Battery Battery is low on charge.

10301 Bike Info Unable to fetch the component list from the bike.

10401 Validate Bike Bundle Unable to fetch the bike bundle from the cloud.
  1. Check network connection

  1. Verify the bike serial number
  2. Reconnect using the serial number or manual method

  2. If the bike connection is via dongle, then please confirm the dongle is connected via USB and follow the BlueTooth connection steps
