Description

The detected torque sensor output voltage is too low, indicating a potential issue with the connection between the sensor and the controller, such as damage or disconnection.

⚠️Triggers of Error Code

The following are possible causes of error code 32

  • Damaged or broken motor cable
  • Damaged or broken controller cable
  • The pins on the motor are bent
  • Loose connection between the controller and motor cables

1 E-bike remains stationary and turn off the e-bike

Before proceeding with the e-bike inspection, ensure the bike is stationary, and do not sit on the bike, pedal, or apply any force to the pedals. Long press the power button to turn off the e-bike.

2 Check the connector between motor and controller

Find the connection cable between [Motor] and [Controller], and check if the cable connector is plugged in properly. If the connection is loose, plug the connector back in tight carefully. When plugging the connectors, ensure the arrow symbols on the two connectors must be aligned.

3 Reboot the e-bike

Reboot the e-bike to check if the error code still exists. If this doesn't fix the issue, proceed to the next step.
(The reason for needing to reboot the e-bike is that the system will detect whether the error code still exists during the reboot.
This allows us to determine whether the troubleshooting mentioned above has successfully resolved the issue.)

4 Check the cable, connectors and pins

Check the cable for damage. Then, unplug the cable connector and examine the connector pins for bends or breakage. If any issues are found, replace the damaged component or extension cable. If both the cable and connector are in good condition, proceed to the next step.

5 Crosscheck the motor

If possible, replace the [Motor] on the problematic e-bike with a well-functioning one from another bike, then reboot for testing. If the error code doesn't appear, replace the [Motor] with a new spare. If this doesn't resolve the issue, proceed to the next step.

6 Replace the Controller

Replace the [Controller] with a new spare, then reboot the e-bike to check if the error code still exists. If this doesn't fix the issue, proceed to the next step.
