Description

The system detects that the motor in pedal assist mode is not functioning properly. When the motor's output exceeds safe operational limits, the system will stop functioning and trigger an error code. This condition suggests that the motor is unable to rotate effectively, activating the system’s protection mechanism.

⚠️Triggers of Error Code

The following are possible causes of error code 82:

  • Motor overload from excessive load
  • Sensor malfunction disrupt the pedal assist

1 Go for a Test Ride

Reboot the e-bike. Adjust the support level to 3 and go for a brief ride on a flat road to verify the presence of system assistance power output. If it's not functioning or if the error persists, proceed to the next step.

2 Replace the Controller

Replace the [Controller] with a new spare, then reboot the e-bike to check if the error code still exists. If this doesn't fix the issue, proceed to the next step.

3 Replace the Motor

Replace the [Motor] with a new spare, then reboot the e-bike to check if the error code still exists. If this doesn't fix the issue, proceed to the next step.
